My name is Jessica and I have been boarding Dachshunds, and small dogs, in my home for over 10 years. I work from home, and only watch 1-2 Dachshunds at a time, so I can give your dog focused attention and spend plenty of time making sure they are having a good time. In addition to your dog's stay in my home, you can add on services like nail trims, hiking, camping, training, and pick up/drop off. Your dog will maintain as much of their familiar routine as possible while away from home, including sleeping in my bed if that is the norm at your house. I also love taking photos and videos so I sent my clients updates daily with plenty of each to keep or share on social media.
I live just outside of the Seattle area in the mountains of the Central Cascades with my husband and three miniature Dachshunds. I am the author of the award-winning blog https://youdidwhatwithyourweiner.com/, am the founder of the largest Dachshund meetup club in Washington State, and am learning to become a Dachshund trainer. When I'm not kissing dogs or working in my home office, you'll find me traveling, hiking, and camping with my Dachshunds.
